Hey, classmates.
For those of you who attended, you know what an incredible time we had.
One person who did not get the recognition she deserved was Sara Casey (Safar). She was involved from the outset and went to a great deal of effort trying to find the right band for the Saturday night event among other things. She did a wonderful job as we were still dancing to the very last song. Drop her an email of thanks.
Also, Jane Stewart and her husband Mike went beyond the call to be sure we had a clean and very nice venue for the Friday night gathering at the Fairgrounds. There were many, many classmates working behind the scenes to assure we enjoyed a once-in-a-lifetime event and we are all grateful.
Couple of things --- Lynn Smith was our treasurer and has given us a final accounting which you can check out by clicking the “Reunion Financials” button.
We still haven’t figured out how to do a site-specific bulletin board, so we will continue to use the old one to post upcoming events. Speaking of which, Susan Webber (Wright) is having mini reunion January, 27 at her home in Little Rock. Everyone is invited but please email Sam Forester, if haven’t already, and tell him to add your name to the list. We need a headcount to plan for food. Sjf648@aol.com
Darla’s computer has been down. Consequently, we have had trouble getting some of the data we intend to post. If you would like your current address and phone # added to the “classmate” section of the site, please hit the contact button and email it to me. Also, if your email address changes, please send me a new one.
We want to continue to have mini-reunions. If you have an idea or want to put one together, please post your ideas and comments on the bulletin board.
Finally, if you took digital photos at the reunion – particularly the Friday night event, please send copies to me. We want to get them on the site.
